This page will address the "Work Ethic" that goes towards clients that hire Dave and/or the band for Corporate Parties, High School Reunions, Weddings, Private Parties, even Funerals.

Professionalism is the key to what makes Dave and his band different. Dave's band is probably the hardest working band that you'll ever hire for your function. Some key issues they address are:

Unlike Bars/Nightclubs/Resturants that hire the band on a regular basis. these type of functions are handled slightly different. Most of the issues addressed on the Bars/Nightclubs/Resturants page apply here as well except for advertising. Most of these functions are private and are listed on the "Live Shows" page as such. The reason they are listed is to let other clients know that the band IS booked for the day/night and is not available for a more public performance.

Clients with private functions are required to sign contracts and submit a non-refundable deposit of half the agreed monies to secure the date for their function. The deposit used to be refundalble up to thirty days out from the agreed date. However in recent years many Bars/Nightclubs/Resturants have changed their booking policies and are now are booking bands up to a year in advance. If the client for a private function cancells for whatever reason it is unlikely that this work can be replaced by another gig on short notice.

Along with your contracts a copy of the band's song list can be submited if requested. Thus the client can pick, if they so choose, the songs they feel most appropriate. There is a charge to "Learn" songs that are not in the bands repertoire that would be special for their particular function.
