The Jordanettes at The Gallery

July 2011

Photos by Steve Bauman:

I had an acoustic gig at the Coastside Art Gallery in Half Moon Bay CA.

I LOVE playin' "Ginny" my Gibson J-200 guitar. Blonde, just like the one Elvis Presley played.

Uncle Johnny Alexander played that "Dawg House" Bass and sang.

The real treat of the evening was having the Jordanettes sit in.

Ms. Sharon.

Formerly known as the Sha-Bubs, it was Sharon's Idea to change the name to The Jordanettes. It brings new energy to the music, the group, and, as Sharon pointed out, "Elvis had the Jordanaires, so you should have the Jordanettes". I can't argue with the logic.

:-)

Ms. Lauren

A school teacher by day and by night, one of only three women I've EVER heard do a Janis song in Janis' keys. She's AWESOME folks.

We all had a BLAST. If you're ever on the coast and in the moode to purchase art from local artists and local dealers, please go to

The Coastside Art Gallery

Pssst....................so....we're taking over the band next week right?

I'll plant you now and dig you later
