A lot of folks don't know it but I'm a member of the Chamber of Commerce for both Pacifica & Half Moon Bay CA. Both organizations have really helped me and the band find work and helped get the word out about local gigs. This was a night when several folks got awards.

This is me and Mildred Owen, former President of the pacifica Chamber. Most important, she was my very first Vocal Coach at Skyline College back in 1975 ! Sadly, Mildred passed away at the age of 81 just a few weeks after this event. When i grow up, I want to be like her.
