This was our first year at the Redwood City Blues Festival. I thought it was kinda strange that the Blues folks wanted a Rockabilly Band, but I was complemented that they appreciate how we work hard at being authentic.
Don't forget to thank our sponsors. Otherwise, we don't get paid.
We got there early while the sound crew was still setting up.
Candy Kane's outfit. They do great work for handicapped folks. George Schoenstein, a musician by night and a physical therapist by day puts this festival together every year and he does a GREAT job!
The stage was right across downtown square from the Fox theater. We played the opening of the Fox on New Year's Eve 2000. She has new owners and it's great to nice to know that she'll continue to be the home of some fantastic concerts.
Next door to the Fox, but still part of the Fox is the "Little Fox". A really cool nightclub to play.
The San Mateo County Court House, home to the San Mateo Historical Society who will be carrying my new book on my home town Broadmoor Village
Are we in the right place?
Backstage security was on red alert. The rumor was Dave Crimmen was playing today.
Signing posters.
Officer Roberts who paid all the bands.

The band's running late.
Yeah, but they sound great!
Everybody wants to get into the act.
Amy Lou belting one out.
Here's the girl who usually doesn't get into the pictures, because she's usually taking them. My Bebe, Ms. Sharon.
Is that a Danelectro guitar?
No, it's a Silvertone
I want the shirt off of your back. Thanx to George, PAL and all of the sponsors. Me and the guys had a great time. I'll plant you now and dig you later Dave |
