My Sister Ginny was Class of 1965, My brother Raymond was Class of 1972 and I was Class of 1973. So it was kinda like playing a family reunion and not a High School reunion but what the heck, we had a BLAST!
There were tons of memerobilia and tons of memories.
The band.
We almost wore the right colors.
Lot's of good lookin' folks and lots of dancers too!
My old Algebra Teacher Mr. Jim Potts has a very dry sense of humor. One day in class he held up two fingers and asked "What does this mean?". Being 1971, the class responded "Peace". Mr. Potts said no, it means "Two Beers Please" :-)
I LOVE the dancers!
The committee asked if I'd wear my old football jersey. I wasn't very good at football, but I WAS on the team for a couple of years.
Cornell and his wife.
Cornell and i talking about our old coaches.
I was also asked to wear my old Block "W" jacket. It still fits too!
Cornell had to get into the act too with his Block "W" sweater.
After all of these years, it still comes down to "Beat Jefferson" our cross town rivals.
It looks like he got blocks for Wrestling and Baseball. That's his Senior pin in the middle.
Everyone wants to get into the act.
LOVE!
Now these kidz know how to PARTY! Lamp shade anyone? :-)
We all had a GREAT time. Thanx to Barbara and the committee for giving me the chance to "Give Back" a little something to the school and the alumni. I'll plant you now and dig you later Dave |
