Photos by: Debbie Crimmen

This was our second time at the Homefront Festival which celebrates "Rosie The Riviter". The symbol of women who took over the jobs left behind by the men who went off and fought in World War Two

Our M.C. this year was Nick Harper. Nick was n Local radio for over 30 years as a D.J. on K.S.O.L. - F.M. and the world famous K.D.I.A. "Lucky 13" A.M. He used to run the show "Nick at Night ' I grew up listening to this "Cat". It was an honor to work with him !

Sharing a story with Nick

You see ALL kinds of vintage "Stuff" at this festival

With friends from the Atria Senior Living center in Daly City, CA where I grew up

Outside off in the distance is an original Liberty Ship from the 1940's

Right next to us was a Coast Guard vessel. Is it a "Ship" or a "Boat" ??? I'll have to ask Michael my nephew who was a Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard.

I love this festival becuase cultures from all over the Bay Area and art forms get a shot at performing. Latin Dancers....of all ages

Steel Drums

Music and Dance from the Far East

Okay gang, time to say so long 'til next year

'nuff said
